Everyone can experience the benefits of essential oils because they are super easy to use! Please read the label directions for each individual oil and follow these basic basic guidelines.

The most common ways to use therapeutic grade essential oils include topical application, inhalation and ingestion.

INHALATION

  • Rub a drop or two between your hands, cover your nose and breathe in.
  • Use a Young Living diffuser, which disperses oil as a micro-fine vapor into the air.
  • Carefully pour hot water into a bowl, add a few drops of oil, cover your head and the bowl with a towel and breathe slowly and deeply.

TOPICAL APPLICATION
Apply essential oils directly onto the skin where indicated. Dilution with a carrier oil may protect against possible skin sensitivities. Key points of application on the body include: crown of head, temples, neck, wrists, feet, over the heart, ankles, abdomen and over other vital organs.

If irritation occurs, immediately apply V-6 Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex or another carrier oil to the area to dilute. Never try to wash an oil off. Because oil and water don’t mix, you’ll simply drive the oil in deeper.

INGESTION

  • Put several drops of oil into an empty capsule and swallow with water.
  • Add 1-2 drops to a glass of water or rice/soy/almond/coconut milk.
  • Add oils to your meals when cooking.
  • Add 1-2 drops to a teaspoon of honey and swallow.
